Invite a member
Invite someone to the active workspace by email. They get an email with an accept link (valid 14 days); membership only starts when they accept while signed in as that address. Use when the user wants to add/invite a teammate, colleague or client to their workspace/team. Roles: member (default — creates and manages forms), admin (also manages members). The owner role can't be granted by invite. Calling again for the same email re-sends the invite with a fresh link.
Invites expire after 14 days and the accept link only works when the invitee signs in as the invited address. Re-inviting the same email sends a fresh link. The owner role can’t be granted by invite — promote after they join. Members and pending invites count against the plan’s seats (Free 3, Pro 10, Business unlimited — see limits).
