Multistep forms and funnels

Split a form into steps or show one question at a time, Typeform-style. Respondents without JavaScript still get the whole form.

Ask your assistant
Split my intake form into three steps: contact details, project, budget.
Make it show one question at a time.

Three layouts, switchable any time:

  • single — the classic one-page form (default).
  • focus — one question per screen, no setup needed.
  • paged — named steps you define: “step one is About you with name and email…”.

Ask to split, group, or reorganize questions and the assistant uses set_pages. Steps get titles, optional descriptions, and a progress bar or counter (configurable). Respondents get per-step validation, Back/Next, and Enter to advance.

Submission is still a single send at the end — leaving mid-way stores nothing. Up to 20 steps per form.

FAQ

Do multistep forms hurt performance or accessibility?

No. All steps render server-side into one page; steps are shown client-side. Without JavaScript the form falls back to a single page and still submits.

Can AI follow-ups be their own step?

Yes — in multistep layouts, follow-ups can appear inline under the field or as a short interstitial step after Next.
