# Common errors and what they mean

> The errors your assistant might relay - sign-in required, invalid fields, rate limits - and the one-line fix for each.

Errors on forms.ax are designed to tell the assistant how to fix them, so most never reach you. The ones that might:

- **Sign-in required** — publishing (and workspace features) need an account. The assistant hands you a sign-in link; approve it and it retries.
- **Validation problems** — "field X needs at least 2 options", "rating span too large". The message lists what to change; usually the assistant fixes it on its own.
- **Integration not configured / authorization expired** — reconnect the provider ("connect Google Sheets again") to mint a fresh authorization.
- **Rate limits** — submissions are rate-limited per visitor to keep spam out; genuine respondents are effectively never affected.
- **Wrong workspace** — the form went to the active workspace. [Switch](/help/workspaces/workspaces) and recreate, or switch before creating next time.

## FAQ

**The assistant says it lost my draft.**
Anonymous drafts expire after a while. Recreate the form (one message) and publish this time - published forms don't expire.
