# Delete responses and respondent data

## Ask your assistant

- "Delete everything anna@example.com submitted on the intake form - she asked to be forgotten."

Two erasure paths for GDPR requests:

- **One response** — "delete that response."
- **One person** — "delete everything this email address submitted on this form" (right-to-erasure in one move).

Both are permanent and both require your explicit confirmation before the assistant proceeds. For automatic cleanup, set [retention](/help/privacy/retention) instead of deleting by hand.

## FAQ

**Is erasure immediate and complete?**
The response records and their uploads are permanently removed. The assistant asks you to confirm before anything is deleted.
